How the Pinnacles are calculated

Your four Pinnacles and their Challenges are drawn from the reduced numbers of your birth month, day and year.

1. Reduce your birth month, day and year each to a single digit.
2. The first Pinnacle is the month and day added together; the second is the day and year; the third combines the first two; the fourth is the month and year.
3. Each Challenge is found by taking the difference between those same reduced numbers.
4. The chapters change roughly every nine years, with the first lasting from birth until around your mid-thirties.
5. Master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are preserved wherever they appear.

What the four chapters describe

The Pinnacles read a life as four long seasons, each with its own lesson and its own opportunity. The first is the chapter of becoming, often stretching through youth and into the mid-thirties; the middle two are the building years; the fourth is the long chapter of later life. Together they sketch the changing shape of a lifetime.

Each chapter pairs a Pinnacle, the height or opportunity that rises in it, with a Challenge, the lesson that helps you reach it. The Challenge is never a punishment; it is the very thing that, once met, lets the chapter's gift come through. The reading frames all of this with hope, never as fate.

The chapter you are in now

Of the four, the chapter you are living now tends to feel the most alive and useful to read. It can put words to a season that has felt hard to name - why a certain lesson keeps returning, or why a particular kind of growth is being asked of you right now.
