In numerology, the number 1 carries the energy of the pioneer: a bold, original spark - here to lead and to begin. How a 1 is calculated

1. Add the digits of the number you are reducing - for a birth date, add the reduced month, day and year.
2. Keep adding the digits of any total over 9.
3. Stop when you reach a single digit. For example, 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 reduces to 19, then 1 + 9 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1 - but a date that totals 25 gives 2 + 5 = 7.
4. The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are the exception - they are kept as they are.
